New Patient Comprehensive Oral Exam

Service Description

When becoming a new patient, Dr. Poulos will complete your New Patient Comprehensive Oral Examination. This examination allows the dentist to have a full understanding of your oral health. With that, we examine all of the tissues inside and outside of your mouth, perform an oral cancer screening, evaluate the health of your gums, take photos of all of your teeth, and record any fillings or restorative treatments that you’ve had previously. In order for the dentist to fully determine your level of oral health and diagnose any treatment that may need to take place, we do require x-rays. X-rays allow the dentist to detect whether decay is present. If you have usable x-rays from a previous dentist, please let our team know in advance. A signed Release of Dental Records form is required in order for our team to have your information transferred to our practice prior to your visit.
